A seasoned educator and administrator, Dr Celli comes to Lasell from Endicott College where she served in a number of senior positions including Executive Director of Professional Education and Leadership, Dean of Graduate Professional Education, and Associate Dean for Graduate Education programs. During her tenure at Endicott, Dr Celli was responsible for developing and overseeing the curriculum for academic programs at the doctoral, masters and certificate levels for both licensure and non-licensure programs.
Earlier in her career, Dr Celli served as Superintendent for Swampscott Public Schools.
Dr Celli was named by Phi Delta Kappa as a Distinguished Educator, appointed to the International Who’s Who of Professional Educators, and to the National Association of Professional Women. An accomplished author of numerous books and articles, Dr Celli has published on a variety of topics in the education field including Educating the Experienced: Challenges and Best Practices in Adult Learning, The Power of the Professoriate: Demands, Challenges, and Opportunities in 21st Century Higher Education, Learning Style Perspectives: Impact in the Classroom, and Collapsing Boundaries from Preschool to PhD: Building Bridges Across the Educational Systems.
She has previous experience with the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) program and institutional reviews, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) review for licensure endorsement and has served as an Instructional Review Board (IRB) committee member. Additionally, she has led partnerships initiatives with PreK-12 school districts.
A frequent speaker at international conferences, Dr Celli earned her PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, Administration from Boston College, where she currently teaches as an adjunct professor.
