The percentage of Mathematics passing in the 1st and 2nd Test at school is decreasing and alarming. Students’ understanding of basic skills counting especially in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations are still weak while these aspects are important for determining the level of mathematics literacy and building a more mindset. As such, I have taken the initiative to develop an innovation tool or game that enables students to become proficient in basic math calculations. I have drawn description of the game and wrote the prototype of the use of the material. Then I built a tool using numbers only. This game will help students think mentally and can create a thought process for basic computation operations. Then I used that material in my research. The study was conducted to address the problem of mastery of basic skills plus, minus, multiplication, and division not exceeding tens of thousands. The students involved in this study consisted of students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at Vageesar Tamil School Malaysia. Initial reviews were conducted through regular oral tests, regular homework tests related to the skills. The student questionnaire was also used as a tool for reviewing students’ views on teacher teaching. Clinical sessions with the approach of using the ‘Number sense kit’ approach can help students improve achievement and change students’ internal perceptions. Math teachers find that the use of the ‘Number sense kit’ for 16 weeks satisfies and successfully transforms boredom and fear into fun, interest and math learning. The use of this ‘Number sense kit’ also helps students to act actively. In addition, students’ mastery of the added computation will provide the opportunity to expand their thinking and to develop ideas for solving difficult and compulsory level questions. In addition, the use of the ‘Number sense kit’ will also improve basic computation skills so that this method can be used to solve Math problems quickly. In addition, this tool also indirectly enhances students’ memory and thinking on the basis of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. These skills are also important for solving a question that involves problem solving or application in the daily life of a student.
