This paper reviews the relationship between the student and the teacher and ways of providing effective working conditions that facilitate good performance among the tutor and the student in both Bangladesh and Japan. Both countries have implemented measures to ensure that student and teacher relationship is enhanced in the schools. Education is one of the core investments in the two countries. In collaboration with the United Nations, the two governments established relations and policies that ensure children are kept in school. Under the madrasah scheme, the Bangladesh education system aims to give students the knowledge to face the world in various approaches, such as politics, religiosity, economics, etc. The two countries have rationalized education foundations rooted in cultural basis within the school within the government policies and provision of staff that guide the schools’ operations. However, the two country’s education system differs in a policy directive. In Bangladesh, the policy education system is based on UN child rights convection, which ensures that children’s rights are considered. The policies ensure that the children have cultivated necessary values, universal science, and other approaches designed to provide solutions to the problems within the society.

On the other hand, Japan’s education system is based on national laws within the constitution. It offers compulsory and free education for all small children. Subsequently, the paper seeks to liaise with all the countries’ governments to invest in education and facilitate interrelationship between children and teachers to foster the shape of students into responsible and competent global individuals who can be relied on in the future.

There are several factors that aid student and teacher performance. However, strategizing on the significant metrics which ensure and facilitate their relationship is outstandingly fundamental. The education system refers to activities that enable the acquisition of knowledge by individuals according to (Aronson, Barrow, & Sander, 2007). Each country has its education system that is followed from scratch by all the private and public schools. However, some regulations and guidelines are supposed to be followed in the design from the two countries.  The relationship between the student and teacher are facilitated by the type of education system implemented.  It enables students and teachers to share ideas and knowledge on the best procedures to advance their class and outside skills.  The government sustains the teacher-student relationship through passing some policies which require them to interact more and perhaps facilitate discipline from all the aspects within the educational background.

This research paper encompasses the different techniques teachers and learners use to facilitate interactions create a harmonious environment in school. Besides, the study also explores the types of education systems, working conditions of teachers and measures implemented by each country to boost the performance of students and tutors in Japan and Bangladesh.

The study investigates the influence of teachers working conditions and student performance in Japan and Bangladesh.

The concerning influence and good reward programs create a substantial environment where students can improve their academic achievements and success. The teachers are the fundamental entities that drive students’ performances through effort and instil discipline in them. It was revealed that intrinsic and extrinsic rewards provided positive influences on teachers’ performance in class. However, the degree to which students’ involvement in the classroom works is another determining factor that enables their performance. Subsequently, students cannot boost their class performance when they are unwilling to participate and engage themselves in the study.

Regarding the influence of leadership styles, teacher performance incorporated findings that showed both participative and consultative leadership styles are supposed to be practised equally in schools. The study found out that consultative leadership positively encouraged teacher performance. Besides, on the matter of information flow and understanding of the teachers, the findings found out that many schools in Bangladesh and Japan practice practised vertical information flow. The vertical information flow negatively affects teacher and student performance. It also deduced that the horizontals flow of information positively influenced the performance of tutors.

Concerning the measure to reward tutors in school to facilitate student performance, the theoretical study revealed that intrinsic and extrinsic reward methods influence teachers’ satisfaction. The research has also revealed that management is vital for establishing a good relationship between teachers and the administration. If there is good management, then there are good working conditions facilitated by the tutors’ satisfaction. Hence, student performance is well improved. The influence of infrastructure and location of the working environment is another vital factor to consider. If the administration well maintains the school infrastructure, there is ample resource supply, and their pay is remitted in due time, the teacher can effectively improve their performance. The processes act as motivation and reward approaches to them. When the working procedures, environment, and conditions are improved, there is a corresponding performance improvement. The students as well should ensure that their discipline is top-notch. It becomes critical if the performance of a student is impressive, but their discipline is unquestionable. It is a disturbing thing. Therefore, students should work together with their tutors to improve their performance and boost their academic success to be reliable individuals in the future.

Based on the results and findings of this study, the researcher recommends the following information.

  1. a) The top administration and the two countries’ governments should collaborate and create the right working conditions for teachers.
  2. b) Schools should adopt a horizontal flow of information to allow feedback from up and down and vice versa to avoid miscommunication within the organization.
  3. c) The tutors should ensure that students’ performance is well monitored despite their working conditions.
  4. d) The students should ensure high discipline in and out of the school to boost their academic success because education goes hand in hand.
